Approve a Manual Mode Script

What to do when a Manual project pauses for script approval.

Manual mode pauses after the script is ready so you can review it before the rest of production begins.

Open the Project

When the project is waiting for approval, open it from Projects or from the recent project list. The project page shows the current status and the script area.

Review the Script

Read the full script before approving. Check for:

  • A strong opening hook.
  • Accurate names, dates, and claims.
  • A logical section order.
  • Clear pacing for the selected duration.
  • Tone that matches the channel.
  • Any statements that should be softened, removed, or verified.

Edit Before Approving

Make changes directly in the script area where editing is available. Keep edits consistent with the requested video length. A much longer script can make the final video run longer than expected, while a much shorter script can make the result feel thin.

Approve and Continue

When the script is ready, approve it. VidBlitz then continues with narration, metadata, thumbnail variants, visual sourcing, timeline assembly, rendering, and exports.

If the Script Needs Major Changes

If the structure is far from what you wanted, make the prompt more specific next time. Include the angle, required sections, examples to include or avoid, and the intended audience.

Custom Voiceover Exception

Custom voiceover projects skip script approval because the uploaded audio controls timing and narration. Review the audio before uploading it.
