The Create Video composer can start from a prompt alone, or from extra input you provide.

Custom Script

Use Custom Script when you already have the exact narration text you want VidBlitz to use.

  1. Open Create Video.
  2. Open the add input menu.
  3. Choose Custom script.
  4. Paste the full narration.
  5. Save the script and submit the project.

A custom script disables custom voiceover and YouTube writing references because the narration is already provided.

Custom Voiceover

Use Custom Voiceover when you already have the finished narration audio.

  1. Open Create Video.
  2. Open the add input menu.
  3. Choose Custom voiceover.
  4. Upload the audio file.
  5. Submit the project.

VidBlitz uses the uploaded narration as the source for timing, captions, scene planning, and visual matching. The setup flow skips voice selection when a custom voiceover is attached.

YouTube Writing Reference

Use a YouTube writing reference when you want VidBlitz to learn from the pacing, framing, and writing style of a public YouTube video.

  1. Open Create Video.
  2. Open the add input menu.
  3. Choose YouTube reference.
  4. Paste a public YouTube URL.
  5. Save the reference and submit the project.

A writing reference influences the script style. It does not mean VidBlitz will copy the reference video, reuse its protected assets, or make the reference material available in your project.

Which Input Should I Use?

  • Use a prompt alone when you want VidBlitz to write the video.
  • Use a custom script when you want exact control over narration.
  • Use a custom voiceover when narration is already recorded.
  • Use a YouTube writing reference when you want to guide the style without writing the full script yourself.

If you are unsure, start with a strong prompt and use Manual mode so you can review the script before the rest of the video is built.
