VidBlitz uses a thumbnail reference to understand the type of packaging that fits your video idea and niche.

Why a Reference Is Required

A thumbnail reference helps guide composition, contrast, subject placement, and niche expectations. It does not mean VidBlitz copies the reference image.

Search for a Reference

  1. Open the Review step before generation.
  2. Search for a topic or niche.
  3. Review the returned examples.
  4. Select a reference that matches the audience expectation for your video.

Good references usually come from the same niche, format, or viewer promise as your planned video.

Use a Specific YouTube URL

If you already know the exact video style you want to reference, use the URL option and paste a public YouTube URL.

Only use references as style direction. Do not use references to imitate another creator deceptively or imply rights to copy protected artwork.

Review Thumbnail Variants

After generation, review the thumbnail variants on the project page. Choose the version that best matches the title, hook, and audience.

A strong thumbnail should be clear at small size, match the video topic, and avoid misleading claims.
