The VidBlitz editor lets you polish a generated video without starting over.

Editor Areas

The editor is organized around a few main areas:

  • Preview: watch the current frame or section of the video.
  • Timeline: adjust clips, captions, narration, music, and other layers over time.
  • Media and asset panels: find, upload, or select replacement visuals and audio.
  • Inspector controls: adjust the selected item when available.
  • Render controls: create a new finished video from the latest saved edit.

Timeline Basics

Use the timeline to understand what appears and when. Longer videos can have many layers, so zoom in when making detailed edits.

Common timeline actions include:

  • Select an item.
  • Move an item in time.
  • Split a clip when available.
  • Trim media.
  • Hide, lock, or mute layers when available.
  • Review narration and music alignment.

Canvas and Preview

The preview shows how the video frame looks at the current time. Select visual items to resize or reposition them when editing controls are available.

Keep captions readable, leave enough safe space around important text, and check that visuals still match the narration.

Save and Render

Save your edits before leaving. When you are satisfied, render a new version so the download reflects the latest timeline.
