Edit a Generated Video
How to open the editor and make user-facing changes to a generated timeline.
Use the editor after generation when you want to polish the timeline before rendering the final video.
Open the Editor
- Open the project.
- Wait until the project has an editable timeline.
- Click Continue Editing.
The editor loads the project timeline, scenes, visuals, narration, captions, music, and timing.
Common Edits
You can use the editor to:
- Replace weak B-roll or images.
- Trim clips.
- Adjust timing.
- Move or resize visual items.
- Edit text overlays.
- Adjust captions.
- Change background or visual styling.
- Tune audio levels.
- Add or remove timeline items.
- Save changes and render again.
Working Safely
Review the full video after edits. Pay attention to cuts, caption timing, audio balance, and whether visuals still match the narration.
If an edit changes the story structure, also update YouTube title, description, tags, chapters, and thumbnail choices before publishing.
Mobile Editing
The app supports responsive surfaces, but full mobile timeline editing is limited today. For serious timeline edits, use a desktop or laptop screen.
