Roadmap Statuses and Voting

How to follow planned work, vote on user feedback, and understand roadmap and feedback statuses.

VidBlitz uses two related but different product areas: feedback and roadmap.

Feedback vs Roadmap

Feedback is where users share requests, bugs, and workflow problems. It should represent real user input.

The roadmap is where VidBlitz shows planned or active product work. Roadmap items may come from user feedback, internal product planning, reliability work, or known product gaps.

Follow the Roadmap

Use the Roadmap area to see planned work, active work, and completed improvements. Roadmap items communicate product direction, not guaranteed delivery dates.

Current roadmap themes may include work such as workspace assets, support routing, alternate aspect ratios, mobile timeline editing, project movement between workspaces, and expanded source adapters.

Vote on User Ideas

If you see a user feedback idea that matters to your workflow, vote for it. Voting helps the team understand demand, especially when multiple users need the same improvement.

Add Context

A useful feedback comment explains:

What you are trying to do.
Why the feature matters.
How often you would use it.
What workaround you use today.
Which project or workflow is affected.

Status Meanings

Open: the idea is available for feedback.
Under Review: the team is evaluating product fit, priority, or implementation path.
Planned: the team expects to build it, but it is not actively shipping yet.
In Progress: work has started.
Complete: the work has shipped.
Closed: the idea is not moving forward or is no longer relevant.

Avoid Duplicates

Search before creating new user feedback. If a similar user post exists, vote and comment on that post instead of creating another one.

Expectations

Statuses communicate direction and priority. Priorities can change as the app, customer demand, reliability needs, and product constraints change.
