Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about access, video creation, editing, credits, refunds, and current limitations.
Is VidBlitz open to everyone?
VidBlitz is in controlled access. You can create an account, but app access may require waitlist approval, a referral code, direct invitation, or eligible team workspace invitation.
Does VidBlitz run in the cloud?
Yes. You can close your browser while generation or rendering continues, then return to the project later.
Can I use my own script?
Yes. Use Custom Script in the Create Video composer. A custom script disables custom voiceover and YouTube writing references for that project.
Can I upload my own voiceover?
Yes. Use Custom Voiceover when you already have final narration audio. VidBlitz uses it for timing, captions, and visual planning.
Does a YouTube writing reference copy another video?
No. A writing reference helps guide style and structure. It does not grant rights to copy protected assets, and you should not use VidBlitz to imitate another creator deceptively.
Does VidBlitz support vertical video?
Not today. VidBlitz currently focuses on 16:9 long-form YouTube videos.
Can I replace bad B-roll?
Yes. Open the editor and replace weak clips or images when the timeline is available.
Can I download the assets used in my video?
Yes, project export can include assets used in the final timeline. It is not a complete archive of every source considered during generation.
When are credits deducted?
Credits are reserved when generation starts and deducted only after successful completion.
What happens if generation fails?
A system-level failure should not charge final generation credits. Contact support with the project details if credits or outputs look wrong.
Can I buy extra credits?
Yes, if PAYG is enabled for your workspace. The minimum top-up is $10, and the current preview rate is 34 credits per $1.
Are refunds available?
Refunds are reviewed for verified technical failures. Creative preferences, weak prompts, or results that can be fixed in the editor usually do not qualify.
Can I move a project to another workspace?
Not today. Projects, credits, and members are workspace-specific.
