Credit Reservations, Failures, and Refund Reviews
How generation reservations, accepted charges, terminal failures, editor renders, and refund reviews work.
VidBlitz reserves estimated credits when you confirm a Quote Statement so a workspace cannot overspend while production is active.
Reservation vs Charge
A reservation is a temporary hold. It reduces the credits available for other work but is not a completed charge.
The initial generation charge settles only after the delivered render passes technical checks. It uses the accepted video duration, rounded up by output minute at the production tier you confirmed.
A terminal production failure releases the unused reservation. The same accepted delivery cannot charge twice.
Editor Renders
The first accepted render is included with generation.
After a completed render already exists, a new editor render costs a fixed 100 credits. The editor shows the cost and checks the available balance before confirmation.
Review Credit Activity
Open Settings → Credit History. Completed charges and additions appear there; temporary reservations do not.
When to Contact Support
Contact support when:
- A successful generation or render appears more than once.
- A terminally failed production remains as completed spending.
- A completed output is missing, corrupted, or unplayable.
- The wrong workspace was charged.
- A PAYG purchase, refund, or plan grant is missing.
Refund Review
Refunds and credit restoration are reviewed for verified technical failures. Creative preference, weak direction, topic mismatch, or a small issue that can reasonably be fixed in the editor usually does not qualify.
Include the workspace, project ID, what happened, when it happened, and a screenshot when useful.
